Dr Jocalyn Clark is International Editor for The BMJ. She has proven expertise and leadership in advancing action on the social determinants of health and climate change, gender equality, and delivering evidence-based content, policy, and strategy across international editorial environments.



In 2019 she was elected to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences for her role in advancing international perspectives and gender equity in health.



She is also an advisor to Global Health 50/50 and WomenLift Health, Chair of the Governance Council of the Canadian Medical Association Journal, and a WHO Research Group on Health Statistics member.

Jessica joined BMJ in 2019 from The Royal Society of Medicine, where she was responsible for building corporate relationships to support their programme of events. She continues that speciality by spending a lot of time doing prospect research to really understand customer needs and wants. Her work spans the globe, from Copenhagen, and New Delhi to Sydney, London and Amsterdam - Jess is instrumental in devising the best event sponsorship programmes that help partners achieve their goals and objectives.

Dr Jennifer Martin is Senior Partnerships Manager at BMJ. She is an award-winning researcher, technical specialist, and activist with over 14 years of experience in public health programmes focusing on gender equality, social innovation, and sexual and reproductive health.



Jenni has led the global menstrual health movement, Pandemic Periods, since its inception in 2020. She continues transforming global menstrual health by elevating activists from 27 countries by offering them a platform to share their unique insights into menstrual health in their context.



Jenni is a dedicated activist; she has advocated for menstrual health since 2014 through grassroots initiatives and global programmes. She founded women in global health Finland, is committed to supporting early career professionals to break into the global health market, and is a mentor to several young women worldwide.



She has an NIHR-funded PhD in Public Health from the University College London Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, and a master’s from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Dr Ashley McKimm leads a highly competent partnerships team at BMJ, and is also Editor-in-Chief of BMJ Innovations. Published by BMJ, BMJ Innovations focuses on emerging digital health, medical devices, process and system innovations. The journal champions high-quality original research, early-stage innovation reports, and systemic and narrative reviews.



Previously he practiced as a medical doctor in the UK before being seconded as a Clinical Advisor to the NHS England National Medical Director where he worked on national patient safety and harm reduction programs.



He is also past Director of the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare and Chairman of the UK Medical Journalists’ Association.

Paul is The BMJ's international audience editor and joined the journal in 2017. He previously worked as deputy editor of PLOS Medicine and was a research associate at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge.



He received his PhD in biological sciences from the University of Birmingham in 2007 and his BSc in biochemistry from the University of York in 2003.

Kieran is the editorial lead for our medical education and clinical decision support products. He has a vast amount of online medical education experience, clinical decision support, face-to-face delivery of medical education, and summative and formative assessment.

Kieran has published over 200 papers in the biomedical literature and has published four books. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, the Academy of Medical Educators, and Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University. In the past, he worked as a hospital doctor specialising in general internal medicine and geriatric medicine.

Kieran regularly contributes to BMJ Opinion with thought-provoking blogs and articles on the need for more and better continuous professional development within modern healthcare systems.

Morgan joined BMJ in 2018. As Programme Manager at BMJ, Morgan manages the global health initiatives, designs projects, and monitors and reports on the impact of programmes.

She has implemented a variety of global health programmes in areas including global health security, nutrition and maternal, newborn and child health.

Before joining BMJ Morgan was responsible for a number of high value development and humanitarian programmes in the Horn of Africa, with a particular focus on marginalised and hard to reach populations. This included monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and contract, budget and stakeholder management.

Morgan has her M.A.(Hons) in International Relations from University of St Andrews and her Master’s degree in Politics, Security, and Integration from University College London. She also has a PRINCE2 programme management qualification.



Morgan is currently on maternity leave.

Lalitha joined BMJ in 2018 and is the Engagement and Knowledge Manager for BMJ’s global health initiatives.

Previously, Lalitha has worked for organisations such as at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), Royal Society of Medicine, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto Wellcome Trust.

She has a wealth of experience in programme management, mixed-methods research and has conducted fieldwork in Uganda, Namibia, and India.

In unison with her current role, Lalitha is a steering committee member of the South Asian Adolescent Diabetes Awareness Programme at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (University of Toronto) and the Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Global Health Film Initiative.

Lalitha has an MSc in Public Health from LSHTM, a Harvard School of Public Health, Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases summer session qualification in global infectious diseases, and a BSc in Integrative Biology and Health Studies from the University of Toronto.



Lalitha is currently on maternity leave.
